We’re proud to be featured in a new Lakeland PBS Common Ground episode — The Hubbard County DAC: Providing Opportunities for All Abilities! This episode takes you inside our Park Rapids DAC facilities, where creativity comes to life at The Depot. You’ll see our participants designing, painting, and crafting unique pieces of art, each project a reflection of their talents and personalities.

Through interviews with our participants and instructors, you’ll hear firsthand why The Depot is more than just an art space: it’s a place where skills are developed, confidence grows, and community connections are strengthened. Our dedicated instructors work side-by-side with participants, guiding them through different types of art while encouraging self-expression and independence.

A highlight of the episode is our Tin Ceiling gallery space: a beautiful, welcoming area where participants can proudly showcase their finished artwork and offer it for sale. This space not only celebrates their creativity but also provides meaningful opportunities for participants to share their work with the public and see the value of their talents appreciated.

We invite you to watch and experience the joy, purpose, and creativity that fill our days at the Hubbard County DAC.
