Ceiling Gallery

The Tin Ceiling Gallery is a unique retail store and gallery dedicated to providing an inclusive work environment. Employment provides the opportunity to learn new skills and  contribute to a greater mission. 

The Tin Ceiling Gallery operates an eBay store out of the backroom that sells antiques and unique items donated to The Depot and Bearly Used.

As an extension of the CREATE Art Studio, The Tin Ceiling Gallery proudly showcases artwork created exclusively by artists with disabilities as well as community artists, providing an inclusive gallery experience. These emerging and mid-career artists bring exceptional skill, passion, and unique perspectives to every piece they create. Their work, spanning a variety of mediums, is celebrated not just for its artistry but also for the powerful stories behind it.

 

When you visit The Tin Ceiling Gallery, you’re not only supporting local talent but also honoring a community where creativity, inclusion, and resilience thrive.

Jill Odegaard

Beneath the Surface – At Times Orderly  

Jill Odegaard is a visual artist living and working in Pennsylvania. She grew up in Minnesota and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and her Master of Fine Art (MFA) from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her studio practice explores textures and visual rhythms in two-dimensional and three-dimensional formats using handmade paper and mixed media. Over recent years, she has been fortunate to share her interest in handmade paper, book arts and community engagement as artist in residence at CREATE (formally the DAC).
